If a female is engaged why would she have an inappropriate image like this online for the whole world to see her goods

2021.10.24 22:24 xenovera The weight of an abyss (part 1)

I was being chased through a building it seems by a man with a balastic knife.
he stares at me with pure hunger in his eyes as he chases me.
the man was covered by blood soaked bandages and stared directly into my eyes with his piercing blue eyes, so blue that they shone like aquamarine under light, their eyes were so dead that they appeared like they had nothing but hopelessness filling them,
it is beautifully mesmerizing I find a mirror covered in blackened blood I look into the mirror only to see myself covered in blood soaked bandages with eyes that were devoid of all life aswell staring back into me
I run as fast as I can after hearing the booming sounds of boots slamming on close by and I remember running into a room and finding the dead body’s of hundreds of people and a pair of 44. magnums covered in blackened blood along with one of their barrels being snapped off and the other bent somehow and hundreds of casings on the floor
I try to jump out of a window into the night but as soon as I jump through a fake sky and moon I fall into an elevator shaft and grab onto the cables of the elevator and attempt to shimmy down while in pain and I fall as I feel my hand being grabbed by the person who was chasing me.
as they continue to strengthen their grip they sigh and pull me up and save me from the hellish fate that awaited me and in the abyss of the elevator shaft and say’s “are you new?” as he step’s back a few feet and sits down on a near by chair to compose himself.
He explains to me our situation and how truly screwed we are.

2021.10.24 22:24 yakisobarashi How easy or difficult it is to get readmitted to college?

Dropped out in 2014. Planning to return next year to continue my undergrad in Psychology. University website has specific step-by-step procedure for returning student, all I have to do is to write a letter to the dean, send forms and be cleared by the registrar. But it doesn't indicate the metrics or the requirements needed for approval. Is it dependent on the letter? The previous grades? Or is it something that is guaranteed as long as I can pay the tuition fee?

2021.10.24 22:24 backl_ash Almost done with my official diagnosis... after six months

I've been wanting to catalog everything that's happened in the last 6 months in the hopes it'll help someone else. As I'm nearing the end I finally help hopeful and feel like this will be cathartic for me as well.
Around the end of 2019 I was diagnosed with high blood pressure and was put on 5mg of amlodipine. That worked amazing... until it just stopped? I was suddenly having heart palpitations and felt like my throat was closing all the time and I could feel my heartbeat throbbing in my neck. I started using an at home monitor and was averaging 140/90, so I went into my PCP. I told him I hadn't been super religious about taking it everyday and getting my refills on time, so he doubled the dose and scheduled a follow up, that was May 5. I'd say this was the start of me feeling like something was wrong, but I didn't know what.
May 12 - went to urgent care 3 days after I got my 2nd COVID shot. My husband bounced back after a day of fever and chills, but I feel like I couldn't recover. I was super short of breathe, having trouble climbing stairs, and was so fatigued I was sleeping 12 hours a day. I had just started a new job after being unemployed for a year (thanks COVID!), so I thought that accounted for the fatigue. But the dry cough and not being able to catch my breathe was concerning. I couldn't be the new girl in the office AND constantly coughing during a pandemic. As soon as I went to urgent care, they thought I was having a pulmonary embolism and sent me to the ER. O_O
I spent 14 hours in the ER. Chest xray was inconclusive so they recommended a chest CT. In the chest CT they found lesions on one lung w/ ground glass markings. They also caught a large mass on my kidney, so recommended an abdominal CT. They decided the mass was benign. Finally, the doctors came in to explain sarcoidosis to me and give me a referral. I'm a black woman and he explained how much more common it is in black women etc.
Jun 2 - I had my first visit at the Huntsman Cancer Institute at the University of Utah. I can't explain how great this facility is, how fast they were able to get my testing done, and how helpful it was to be assigned a patient care coordinator to be the liaison between all my doctors. I met w/ Pulmonology and they scheduled my lung biopsy. Because of my high heart rate I had to schedule an echo and a cardiologist visit because they wouldn't sedate me with a heart rate of ~130bpm.
Jun 3 - Back to primary care to get meds to help me survive til the biopsy. Got my first rescue inhaler. (albuterol is the shit)
Jun 4 - Echocardiogram to try to figure out if there was inflammation in my heart causing the high BP and high resting heart rate of ~130bpm. My heart looked fine.
Jun 10 - Rheumatology - a VERY long and VERY conclusive first appointment to talk about the symptoms I was having. Nothing much came out of this appt except to say, they'd be keeping an eye out on all my test results. The following day was my birthday and I had mentioned that in my appt. They called me THAT NIGHT because they assumed I'd be drinking and my liver and kidney labs came back really high. Didn't get to drink for my birthday :(
Jun 14 - Lung Function tests! That was fun - especially in the middle of the pandemic. My lung function came back normal.
Jun 16 - Meet with cardiologist - metoprolol gets added to the mix to control my BP at 25mg.
Jun 21 - Lung biopsy! Confirmation of sarcoidosis! Turns out I couldn't breathe because my lymph nodes were like 3cm. All of them.
Around this time I started having crazy eye swelling. I did a virtual urgent care visit and they were just like "I dunno, hard to tell without you coming in, but pandemic so it's not an emergency. I left a message with rheumatology and they seemed concerned, but "You have sarcoidosis, let's get all your testing done and then worry about that." It soon became untenable as I would wake up with swollen eyes and couldn't drive myself to work. My swollen eyes
So I waited a month and went to the after hours urgent care in the ophthalmology department. They were very concerned. They got me in about a week later to one of their ocular plastics specialists (who also happened to specialize in surgeries correcting the effects of thyroid diseases that effects the eyes etc).
Jul 29 - See the specialist, he takes about two looks at me and goes, "Inflamed lacrimal glands." My tear ducts are inflamed! He's pretty positive I'm going to need a biopsy, but sees the other tests I have coming up, so wants to wait to see those before we do a follow up. He orders an MRI to get a better look.
Aug 24 - Meet with MY pulmonologist for the first time. He's great. Not worried about my lungs, but is concerned about the amount of inflammation and congestion I have. Refers me to ENT and adds a Flovent inhaler to the mix.
Sep 10 - Follow up with rheum. Nothing new, but my liver and kidney levels are totally fine now.
Sep 15 - Meet with ENT and get diagnosed with severe pansinus inflammatory disease. Basically my shit's fucked. Get RXed a two week taper of prednisone to get the inflammation down. Also add Flonase and 2x daily sinus rinses to the mix.
My morning routine now looks like sinus rinse, Flonase nasal spray, Flovent oral inhaler, metoprolol, and amlodipine. Same at night minus the hear meds.
Also, Sep 15 - Meet with OB/GYN to discuss the 7-9 massive uterine fibroids during my CT at the beginning of this journey. They're fine. One is dying. I should get pregnant sooner, rather than later. Can't do that now because ya know... sarcoidosis. Schedule an appt w/ high risk OB/GYN to consult.
Sep 21 - Follow up w/ ophthalmology after he's reviewed all the recent tests and the MRI. Schedule biopsy. I may have I've been wanting to catalog everything that's happened in the last 6 months in the hopes it'll help someone else. Sep 21 - Follow up w/ ophthalmology after he's reviewed all the recent tests and the MRI. Schedule biopsy. I may have Sjogren's or another disease that I've forgotten, but it's liek IL3 or something like that. The treatment for the lacrimal gland inflammation starts the same no matter what: tons of steroids, but depending on if it's caused by sarcoidosis, Sjogren's, there is a medicine that comes at the end of the steroids.
Also, Sep 21 - Follow up with cardiology. My BP is under control, but my heart rate is still a little high resting around 100bpm.
Sep 28 - Follow up with pulmonary - nothing new, wait for lacrimal gland biopsy.
Oct 6 - Sleep Medicine! ENT inflammation may be affecting my sleep. Scheduled a sleep study.
Oct 12 - High risk OB/GYN: "DON'T GET PREGNANT." :(
Oct 15 - Add in azelastine allergy spray. Sinuses look a lot better, no need for surgery, monitor inflammation during course of sarcoidosis treatment.
Coming up:
Lacrimal gland biopsy. Sleep study.
I'm SO CLOSE to a treatment plan. This has been a long journey. I'm lucky and have spent $0 out of pocket so far and have racked up upwards of $45k in medical bills thus far. I'm trying to get everything necessary done before Jan 1 when my deductible kicks over. I had met my deductible before all this started earlier in the year w/ an ER visit for a broken foot. American healthcare sucks, but I'm so glad I haven't had to be saddled with this huge financial burden on top of everything.

My life is forever changed now that I know to use the stove top to reheat leftover pizza. The stove not only warms the pizza but creates a perfectly crispy slice. Imho, the pizza was actually better than it was when it was delivered fresh. 10/10- highly recommend. 💯

2021.10.24 22:24 Certain_Suit_1905 My Kid A inspired 10-minutes ambient work. (And how made it)

Here it is: https://youtu.be/yUDnRdIhdtU (Warning! It explodes at 0:50)
I'm making music for about three years now. In this particular track, I was inspired by all of those weird sounds on Kid A and kinda TKOL.
I sit down with the orchestral plugin and put a lot of effects on it (you can hear tuba at the beginning and later strings, glockenspiel, cello, and trombone) then I was turning off some effects and making others more aggressive.
The main process was making delay with big feedback so sound loops on itself (kinda like an infinite echo) and then adding other effects on this echo, often I randomized them so it's really weird sometimes.
I was sitting for like two and half hours recording the whole process, and after a couple of days came back and sliced and rearranged this session, leaving only the best sounds. After that, I layered them with each other.
It's actually wasn't meant to be a serious project. I was just kinda meditating/playing, messing around with effects, but after like two weeks I came back, relisten this session, and really enjoyed it, which is not happen very often.
Hope you like it as well.
